From Frankfurt Airport you can reach the trade fair complex

(A quick tip for visitors arriving at Terminal 2: departing every minute, the Sky Line or the bus shuttle take you to Terminal 1, from where all public transport services to Messe Frankfurt depart).

BY CAB:  to “Brüsseler Straße / Tor Ost”

BY SUBURBAN TRAIN: with the S8 or S9 suburban train (direction of Hanau or Offenbach Ost) to the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). From here follow the instructions “Arriving by train”.

By plane: Frankfurt-Hahn Airport

From Frankfurt Airport you can reach the trade fair complex


  • take the B50 main road as far as the A61 motorway (direction of Bingen)
  • at the Nahetal interchange take the A60 motorway (direction of Mainz/Wiesbaden)
  • take the A643 motorway in the direction of Wiesbaden
  • at the Schiersteiner interchange take the A66 motorway (direction of Frankfurt)
  • at the Eschborn interchange take the A648 motorway towards Messe via the Westkreuz Frankfurt interchange
  • then follow the Tor Nord guidance

BY SHUTTLE BUS: with the shuttle service (route: Hahn AirportFrankfurt Airport-Frankfurt Central Station (Hauptbahnhof).  From here follow the instructions “Arriving by train”.

By car

If you are arriving by car, all you have to do is follow the signs for “Messe”, exiting at the Westkreuz Frankfurt junction. The overhead signs will lead you directly to the exhibition complex.

Does your car have a navigation system? If so, just enter the respective street name to find us as quickly as possible:

  • Tor Nord/Gate North Katharinenkreisel, follow from here the signposting.

By train

From Frankfurt Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) you can reach the trade fair complex

BY CAB: to “Brüsseler Straße / Tor Ost”

BY UNDERGROUND RAILWAY : with the U4 line (direction of Bockenheimer Warte) one stop to “Festhalle/Messe“; from there follow the directions.

BY SUBURBAN RAILWAY: with the S-Bahn lines S3 (direction of Bad Soden), S4 (direction of Kronberg), S5 (direction of Homburg/Friedrichsdorf) or S6 (direction of Friedberg/Groß Karben) it is only two stops to the Messe Frankfurt stop and the “Torhaus“ Entrance.

BY TRAM: with the tram lines 16 and 17. From the railway platform, proceed to the main exit and cross the station forecourt. Trams 16 and 17 will take you directly to the Festhalle/Messe (3rd stop).

ON FOOT: 10 minutes on foot along the Düsseldorfer Straße via Platz der Republik and FriedrichEbert-Anlage. A good orientation point is the “Messeturm“ (Trade Fair Tower) with its pyramid-shaped apex.

By local public transport

If you are already in the city, you can reach Messe Frankfurt conveniently using local public transport.

The easiest way is to take the suburban trains S3 (Bad Soden), S4 (Kronberg), S5 (Bad Homburg/Fried­richsdorf) and S6 (Friedberg/Groß Karben) to the “Messe” stop, or the U4 to the “Festhalle/ Messe” stop.

You can change from the U1, U2, U3, U6 and U7 underground lines to Messe-bound sub­urban trains at Hauptwache, and from lines U5, U6 and U7 at Konstablerwache.
